Columbia River Gorge

Hallo,
this is just to let you know that I am reading your blog from Germany. I just came across it by chance and it is very compassionate, with beautiful pictures and very caring articles. I just read the one about the woman at the bus stop in winter. You seem to be a very nice and good hearted person - your mum should be proud of you (I am saying this, because I am a mum of four sons, and I was especially touched by your having to let your mum go back home after her visit). Remember, a mother is ALWAYS with you in her thoughts, just like a guarding angle. Bless you and your family at home and all the best for you and also for your beautiful home country. I pray that one day soon your people will be free from the oppression of the man AM.

I'm glad you got to see the Columbia River Gorge. "Gorge"ous, isn't it? My mother used to live in McMinnville, Oregon, and I loved visiting the state with her (as long as we're talking of mothers). Your previous commenter has a kind heart. What lovely sentiments.
