What an article and what a photo of you, front and center! And of course your camera on the table. This is what America is (or should still be) all about.
So did you follow tradition and get sleepy after eating the turkey? :)

That newspaper photo of you is fantastic! I'm so glad to hear the university president understands the feeling of being so very far from home, and could share this tradition with you as a new discovery. It's good to see you smiling. 8^)

Meead, the Oregonian article is wonderful. And I love that photo, too. You smile is really very nice. You've been taking some great photos, haven't you? I recognized some of them from the bridge walk. One of these days I'm going to put mine on Portland Oregon Daily Photo.

I love the article! Part of the Thanksgiving tradition is welcoming people from foreign lands. It's part of the American tradition as well. Your university president has the right idea.

What a great article, and well-done Mr. PSU President! That's neat that you got to participate in that...and that you were quoted in the article, Meead! This is wonderful PR for the university. I enjoyed this post a lot - did you enjoy your American Thanksgiving?
