That's very interesting to see. I know other large Pacific coast cities in the US have Chinatowns, but I never thought about Portland having one. It's a beautiful gate.

looks like a very grand Chinatown. Did you go for "dim-sum" with your roommate? If not, do try it when you get a chance.

Mighty chunky fu dogs keeping guard. I had two much smaller dogs that got stolen when someone broke into my studio.

Eye-catching gate! I find it amazing that there's hardly any people on the streets. Have you gone exploring there already?

Hey, welcome to the PNW! Sorry I've been absent...things have been crazy, and I lost track of a couple of blogs I enjoyed - yours included. So I'm back now, and intend to enjoy exploring Portland with you.

I love Chinatown! I've never been to Portland's, but I've visited San Francisco's, Seattle's, and Boston's. These gates are always fantastic.
