"102 ties heat record in downtown Portland."

Portland broke another heat record Tuesday, recording a temperature of 106 at the airport. Vancouver also set a record at 106 degrees. Salem reached 107 degrees, Eugene hit 106 and Medford was a toasty 108 degrees.

with a photo of our fountain. Big contrast, although I didn't get a photo yesterday when it was crowded. Still it'd amazing that we are about twenty degrees cooler here than you are in the Northwest!

What a sizzle! How many showers does one have in a day??
It's hot here but doesn't soar like your temperatures.
