I can appreciate that sign with walkways so narrow in the park. Walking the seaside promenade recently in Tel Aviv, I had to constantly guard the toddler lest he get hit by the many speeding bicycles coming from behind.
Hi Meead. Please see my post of today. I had to correct a mistake I made in describing the crypt of the monastery. Enjoyed your comment. Yes, Father Jean-Michel is very talented in many realms, but so modest and with humor. Actually there is a Monastery Daily Photo in California. But I doubt that monks in Jerusalem have time (or permission) to blog.

I would imagine as bike friendly as Portland is there are not many of these signs around town.
