Marquam Bridge: I-5 Freeway

Here is where the I-405 and I-5 connect each other. Isn't it a little complicated for a non-resident driver to find his/her path?
Can you see the OMSI (Oregon Museum of Sicence and Industry) and the submarine in the water?
Here is a satellite map of this location. Hehe, Can you see the submarine there?

Yes, I think that that is exactly where we get lost every time we've come to Portland. Of course there's also the one way streets.

This is such a beautiful photo -- of such an unpleasant stretch of freeway!

Oh, I like these examinations of geography! There are some pretty complicated interchanges around Berkeley and Oakland too.

Oi, it looks so . . . America, those roads.
But I love the wake of the boats seen from high above.

Everyone has a gift. Mine is that I don't get lost in interchanges. I magically always know which way is north and which way is south. Plus, if you read the signs, you really shouldn't get lost. But that's coming from someone who really never gets lost.
