Oh my goodness how tragic and poignant. Both photos are superb. It looks like a dove of peace which says a lot!
I believe there's a classic tradition of painting/photographing a dead bird. Wish I could remember more details about it. Nice work.
It speaks to us, even after death, through your photography.
Poor gull. Great photos of what probably was the work of others gulls after it died.
